Today was a lab setup day. Here I am setting up our lab bench in the 0 degree Celsius cold room. We have to do our experiments at this temperature so that our fish don't die due to extreme cold. However, our instruments don't like to work anywhere lower than 0 so that is the temp we have to keep the cold room at.
Next, I had to make some solutions. Here I am weighing out different amounts of chemicals to make up the different solutions that we will use in our experiments.
While it wasn't a super exciting day, it was great to finally feel like our lab is ready to have experiments running in it.
