Today was another fishing day. Instead of drilling, we tried out some other places near the Jetty in front of the station. However, before we went fishing, we wanted to try out our new pop up fish hut. We weren't going to use it today, but we wanted to give it a shot, so we set it up in the library. Where else would you set up a pop up fish hut?!

Next, we went out fishing in these small little dive/fishing huts that we have nicknamed "tomatos." They aren't very big inside and aren't very warm either...but they sure are warmer than just standing outside in the wind and the cold! Brad, Marissa and I went out and we took Janae out again as she had the day off. Here are some cool shots of our Pisten Bully and the tomato from the outside.

Finally, we got to see a C-17 landing on the ice. It is pretty far away, but if you look hard, you can see the big, silver plane in the distance. It was another incredible day here at McMurdo.
